Oh, spring break – the only reason to really even go to college these days.  Spring break is the light at the end of the tunnel after a long, brutal winter of research, the break that helps you to rest, refresh, and brace yourself emotionally for the last few weeks of lessons, reports, and tests.  That, or an excuse for 10 days straight of partying.   

College spring break trips have been a rite of passage, due mainly to MTV and teen comedies.  Everyone has their own priorities and ambitions when it comes ideas for their spring break trip, but overall, they share this one thing.   Having fun and getting some sun.  Some students have a smaller budget to work with and are searching for cheap destinations for their spring trip, and right here are some of the best spring break destinations for college students on a budget.  Other students may want to be glamourous and don’t mind an expensive spring vacation, and want to act like an IG influencer for a week.  Some really can’t afford to be oceanside somewhere, but sometimes the best vacations ideas are the simplest ones.

1. Yosemite National Park, California

Yosemite National Park is a fantastic year-round visit, especially if you visit in the spring, when the winter snow melts.  You will have the opportunity to see its numerous waterfalls at their highest.  With famous outdoor attractions like the Half Dome in the background, you can have plenty of wonderful  photo-ops.

2. Grand Canyon

If you want to something visually spectacular, check out the Grand Canyon.  It has impressive landscapes that reflect its scale and magnificence.  Many other canyons have no such thing.  At the Grand Canyon, we can see how big this landmark really is.  In addition to that, its colorful landscape looks like a painting.  It offers top notch hiking (especially at sunset).  There’s no wonder tourists flock to see it from everywhere.
